1st Winter School

Winter Schools & Training 13-15 January 2026 , Churchill College, Cambridge.

We are pleased to invite expressions of interest for the upcoming NeuMat Winter School, which will take place from 13 to 15 January 2026 at Churchill College, Cambridge.

This three-day residential event will bring together 100 researchers (PhD, postdoc, other ECR, industry, policymakers) from across the NeuMat network for an engaging programme of lectures, workshops, and practical sessions focused on AI hardware.

This event is free to attend.

 

Programme highlights include:

  • Lectures and workshops led by leading academics and industry experts
    Confirmed speakers:

    • Professor Tony Kenyon (UCL)

    • Professor Steve Furber (University of Manchester)

    • Professor Regina Dittmann (Peter Grünberg Institute)

  • Hands-on skills development sessions

  • Emphasis on Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) and responsible research practices

A two-night stay at Churchill College (13 and 14 January), including all meals, is covered as part of the event.
