NeuMat Announces Sponsorship of NEXT‑AI 2026
NeuMat is pleased to announce its sponsorship of NEXT‑AI 2026 – NeuromorphiX Technologies for Future AI, a three‑day national workshop taking place 8–10 April 2026 at Loughborough University.
NEXT‑AI 2026 is the UK’s dedicated workshop focused on neuromorphic technologies and hardware AI, bringing together early‑ and mid‑career researchers, industry innovators, start‑ups, funders, and policymakers. The event spans the full neuromorphic development stack, from emerging materials and photonic and electronic platforms to algorithms and real‑world applications.
The workshop will feature keynote talks from academic, industrial, and national funding bodies; sessions covering the UK neuromorphic landscape, electronics and memristors, optoelectronics and photonics, industrial applications, algorithms and co‑design, and next‑generation platforms; as well as two poster sessions, ECR‑led programming, networking receptions, and a conference dinner.
Hosted by the Emergent Photonics Research Centre at Loughborough University’s Holywell Park Conference Centre, NEXT‑AI aims to bridge diverse communities—including photonics, electronics, AI/ML, neuroscience‑inspired computing, and application‑driven sectors—while empowering early‑career researchers and strengthening engagement between academia, industry, and policy.
