The Neuro-Inspired Computational Elements (NICE) Conference 2027 will take place at the University of Sussex in Brighton, UK, bringing one of the leading international conferences in neuromorphic and neuro-inspired computing to the UK research community. The main conference will run from 6–8 April 2027, followed by a dedicated tutorials day on 9 April 2027.
NICE has long served as a focal point for researchers working at the intersection of neuroscience, materials, devices, hardware architectures, algorithms, and applications. The conference aims to accelerate the development of next-generation computing systems that go beyond conventional von Neumann architectures by drawing inspiration from the brain and biological information processing.
